What is special about Midtempo?
A new subgenre was created by DJs and EDM producers Gesaffelstein, Rezz, k?d KLOUD, and Dr. Fresh. These tracks have a straight 4/4 kick and speed of 98 to 110 BPM.
The sound is characterized by the rhythm of Industrial and elements of Dark synthwave genre. Midtempo is rooted in Techno and Synthwave mixed with Dubstep and Glitch-hop.
